Qualification title: Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
The Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Course will benefit anyone working in a catering or food processing environment, from individual to multiple staff members. It allows every catering business, regardless of size, to provide all of its staff with essential and compliant training.
Displaying a certified certificate shows Food safety, Legislation, Safe storage and Cleaning have been considered and understood by the food provider.
A minimum of 4 contact hours in the classroom, consisting of practical and theoretical activities
Assessment is by multiple-choice question papers. Certificates are issued by an Ofqual approved awarding body and qualifications are life-long, although refresher training is always recommended.
A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and all candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to qualify.
